Objective: Equip participants with theoretical tools to understand and approach non-trivial decisions.

1. Introduction to non-trivial decision-making: the Diamond model (divergent and convergent thinking)
2. The Value of Information: understanding diminishing returns and time-sensitive decisions
3. Integrating creative and critical thinking: balancing ideation with structured analysis
Day 1 Outcome: Participants leave with a draft decision-making framework and an understanding of how to evaluate information effectively.
Day 2: Decision-Making in Practice: Emotions and Biases
Theme: “The Human Factor in Decision-Making”
Objective: Identify how emotional states, biases, and social dynamics affect real-time choices.

1. Decisions under altered states, with real-case examples such as stress (including personal
lessons from skydiving use case), analysis paralysis and decision fatigue
2. Goleman’s Emotional Intelligence model: Applying the 4 EQ dimensions to decision-making
